Cubs

Cubs is for young people age 8 – 10½

We meet every Wednesday during school term time from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.

Why not join us?

Cubs enjoy new adventures and make new friends.

Cubs learn new life skills or build on their existing skills and interests – Cubs can earn over 30 badges, from the Artist badge to the Water Activities badge.

Cubs go on activity days, weekend camps and sleepovers.

Cub Scouts:

  • Play games
  • Go camping
  • Explore the outdoors and learn outdoor survival skills
  • Try adventurous activities – such as climbing, kayaking and archery
  • Learn and develop new skills
  • Learn first aid and information technology
  • Meet people from their local area and participate in community activities
  • Experience the culture of other countries
  • Learn how to keep themselves and others safe

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
